I have been baking a lot too....I think mine comes with the snow...makes me want to bake!

I checked out the peanut butter bars (they look yummy). Is the 1 cup peanut butter in the batter AND on top for the icing? Just curious...I would like to make it!!
Mommynoodles, I did tweak the dumplings (should have mentioned that). I cut the butter and sugar in half and used low fat crescent rolls. They were still sooooo delicious.
And about the cookies, I froze half the dough (they make 5 dozen, so yeah, plenty to freeze) and just made a dozen. They were actually a lot better AFTER being frozen. So good!
Um, I am drooling over the dumplings.

Hello. I just found your blog. You are ADORABLE! I have decided that I'm mod podge challenged. My projects never seem to turn out right and always end up looking streeky and bubbly. Do you use matte finish or gloss? Any advice would be oh so helpful! Thanks I know your busy :)
