It's true. Every Friday, I am going to be "stealing" an idea that someone else gave me from my linky party (it's breand new, you know).
This week, I've decided to steal Vanessa, from Silly Eagle Books' craft on how to make Blueberry paint. I've been looking for ideas to do with my after-school art class, and this is seriously perfect!
All you need are some blueberries and some paper. I'm not quite as high tech as Vanessa, so i just used frozen blueberries. I know, I know, I'm lazy.
I just stuck 'em in the ol' microwave for one minute and they were good as new. Then, I smashed them all up with a fork (there may or may not have been a few blackberries in there...shh).
After that, I got to painting. It was a lot of fun. I even got a little creative and broke out a paper cup to make some circles. I know, too much talent right there. Are you blown away?
Be sure to head on over to Vanessa's blog and look at her lovely work. She's a lot more talented when it comes to blueberry painting. I fell in love with not only her blueberry post, but that fact that she mentioned an awesome book to read along with it. You'll want to make sure to have a lot of time when you click over, because her blog is one of those that you can't stop reading. No matter how hard you try.
Be sure to link up to my next party, which will be on Tuesday. Who knows? Maybe I'll be attempting YOUR project next!

Wow! I'm so glad that you enjoyed this and wrote about it! Using frozen blueberries is a great idea--I'll try that next time. Thanks so much for all the kind words and the link! I love your blog and am excited about your new linky party!
