The threat

Yesterday, I came home from work to find this gem on the door.

It reads "Next time it won't be in a bag" I'm scared.

After I got over the official "huh?" stage it dawned on me to take a peek inside the bag. Yup. Dog poo.

Apparently, we have neighbors who think my dog poops on their lawn all the time. Definitely not true--How do I know this? Well, my dog is stupid and never poops outside, it's always gotta be on our bathroom floor (sick, I know--we're working on it!)

Either way, it's a pretty funny threat and it made my day.

In other news, we have a new sponsor her on Oops! I Craft My Pants. (I'm sure they're more than thrilled to share a post about poo, I'm sorry!) Our sponsor is Fancy Pants Prints. They make adorable cards and printables, you NEED to check her out. While you're at it, hop on over to their blog and enter her wonderful giveaway!

Wow - you have some "aggressive" neighbors. Actually very passive aggressive- I think you could post this hilarious site:

http://www.passiveaggressivenotes.com/

Hope your day gets better than a pile of poop..in a bag...on your door/step...!

Frugal Home Design

You have got to be kidding me! That is pretty funny--maybe they should just come over and talk to you about it. Congrats on the new sponsor.

Kim @ seven thirty three

I'm glad you found the humour in it! I think I would be annoyed of being accused of something that wasn't our fault!

PeaceLoveApplesauce

Helllooo rudeness!
Ugh, I would totally take it back to their porch. HA!

Jenglamgirl

HA! your blog name does have crap in it! JUST KIDDING, this made my afternoon! ;) to bad you didn't know who did it? something tells me their old folks!

Jenglamgirl

sorry "CRAFT" MY PANTS but I know what you mean.... ;) and see it threw me too!

EtsyFoodSnob

LOL!! I hope nothing bad actually happens next but this is too funny - I'd love a silly threat like that to brighten up my day :)

Ashley

LMBO! You crack me up even taking the time to take a picture. What happened to the good old days when you walked over to your neighbors and talked to them with real words. I would of also had a god laugh if I found this on my door step.

Tami

The funny thing is, even if it WAS your dog did poop outside, that poop in the bag is WAY bigger than your pug's poop.

At least it wasn't on fire!

Love,
Mom

Megan

I am sooo sorry.

Would it be inappropriate to put it on a platter and place it on their door step?

Gotta love neighbors.
Not so much poop in the bathroom... unless your dog is getting closer and closer to the toilet.

Mixed Nuts

Hi! I was trying to click through on your new sponsor ad (Fancy Pants Prints) but it didn't work. I'll check back to take a look soon :)

Necel

I have a dog that poos on the bathroom floor too. It's worse in winter than it is in summer. The people who had him when he was a puppy taught him to go on piddle pads which they kept next to the toilet... i.e. taught him to go in the house. Good thing he's only 9 lbs. Anyway, shame on your neighbor but it did give you material for a funny post, I guess.

thanks for the laugh!

Courtney Price

That IS gross :) You should submit it to "passive aggressive notes" :)

Heather Feather

Ha ha ha! At least this made your day instead of ruining it! It's funny that they took the time to bring it over to your house.

Katie

You may have thought of this, but if you got him/her to associate rather with the bathroom, a rug (or pee pad) then transitioned him to said rug out doors, maybe that would work. I hope you get it eventually. My dog growing up prefered the soft carpet in my mom's formal dining room the most.

Kathryn

I would be tempted to craft humorous a sign for my lawn to let your neighbors know it was not your dog that did the did in someone's yard.

~Kimberly

Oh no! It would almost make me want to leave a cute little poo poo box outside your front door for 'next time'. With a little "Thank you for depositing my dogs poop HERE... and Have a nice day!"

Do you think they want their plastic sack back for reusing? I'm glad you will be moving soon! (Love your blog!)

Annette

My mom has a similar dog. This one neighbor down the street put the poop in a bag in the mailbox. Now, wouldnt that be a nasty suprise for the mailman if mom had not gotten to it first!
People can be so stupid.

Anny

UGH you better go over there and straighten it out before you find a BIGGER mess by your door soon :(

Martha

Oh my goodness-This is funny, but this is absolutely! I work as a Homeowner Association Manager and I get calls about neighbors pets all the time. I cannot understand why people choose to take the time do stuff like this before they just ring the doorbell?!
ugh.
I have to check out that passive aggressive website now! haha!

Stephanie

You are so good to have such a fun sense of humor about that!
I think I would ring their doorbell and say, thanks for the bag o poo, but actuall THIS (showing bag) is what MY dogs poo looks like.. and note to you: I got it off my floor, where she always poos!

ahhh, i feel better now ;)

MamaBug

Maybe it's from your dog?
;)

the thrifty ba

i just wanted to thank you for having such a great blog! i posted a link from mine to yours today here...http://thethriftyba.blogspot.com/2010/02/major-award.html

OH.MY.GOSH. Really?? Now, I have to say that as much as my neighbor's dog pooped on my lawn I never once did that. (although I did fling it back into their yard a few times! hehe) Boy, if you were sure that that wasn't your dog I'd be placing it right back on your neighbor's front porch with a "don't trespass" note. But that's just me :) I'm gonna have to check out that sight that the first person referenced...

shirley

Wow! I guess it is a good thing you are moving. Hopefully to nicer neighbors!

Christy

LOL! wow...that would have to happen alot before I had the guts to leave a threat like that. If I were you, I'd clear up the confusion before they leave poop on your door step...although how would they transfer it? hold the poop in their hand? hmmm...I'd rather use the bag! Happy Friday!

mommyof2tuties

OMYGOSH!! I thought that only happend in Kentucky where we live.
2 funny, check the size to debate it.

Wow. I'd march that bag o'crap right back on over to them. Inform them of your predicament (ie..."My dog only craps in my house.") Just as mine only does it in our backyard. Ever. The nerve of some folks. You need to nip in the bud before it gets uglier.

Folks who don't clean up after their dog disgust me just as much. Those who toss their dog's crap in my trash bin even more.

Anonymous

Perhaps a sign exhibiting crap left in your yard versus your dog's crap would be appropriate!

I have a friend who has a neighbor who walks her dog everyday & allows it to crap in her yard each time. It's even seen on Google Earth when you google the address.

Tara

My neighbor has flung dog poo out into the street in front of our home... what?! Monkeys fling poo!

Mormon Bachelor Pad

You should put it back on your neighbors porch in another bag that says, "Next time it won't be animal poop!"

sleepyhead designs studio

I like the Mormon Bachelor Pad's idea--that made me really laugh out loud!!!! What a way to welcome you to the neighborhood!

Jaclynn_kyuss

That's classic! I'd return it in another bag that says, "Thanks but no thanks our dog poo's in our bathroom, Thank you very much!"

The Keylors

Just had to tell you that I just found you and I am sitting here cracking up! First of all, your site name is awesome! It's is so hilarious and creative! ...and the dog poop threat, also cracking me up. I'm so glad I found you. : )
