So, I've been getting lots of emails lately about a new blog called...What else? Oops I Craft My Pants.
Umm... Yeah. It used to be I Crafted This Today (or something like that)...But, she decided she wanted to change the site's name to Oops I Craft My Pants on January 6th. She even bought the domain so that it ends in .com.
CONFUSING, right?
So, here is my little reminder that this site is www.OopsICraftMyPants.NET not .com. K, peeps? This also means if you are trying to tell your friends where to find me, you've gotta make sure to add the net or they will end up somewhere completely different.
Isn't that annoying?
I tried to make this post as friendly as possible. But, I'm a little bugged.
Okay, that's all.

Wow, that is super annoying! Any reason why you didn't get the .com domain instead of the .net one? And I ditto the previous comment - I'm subscribed to your blog in my Google Reader so it won't be an issue around here. :)
Oh goodness, that would be a little unsettling. But your blog is so fantastic, and your awesome personality and hilarious sense of humor come out so much in every post, that I'm sure your site won't suffer at all! Maybe she thought she made it up! She'll probably discover yours someday and be really embarrassed. :o)

Ummm, no offence to the 'other oops i craft my pants' but your blog is a million times more fun and interesting. Keep up what you do and you have NOTHING to worry about. (I can see where it would bug you though).

Alisa, I chose .net instead of .com because .com wasn't an option for some reason. I looked into it a little bit and (at the time) no one had that domain. Rather than message google about it, I just decided to go with .net instead. Now I'm kind of kicking myself.
Not to be snitty, but I jumped over to her sight just to see what it was all about... there is NO COMPARISON!!!! Hope you don't let this get to you much- cause you are AMAZING!
I agree with the other comments...her site is kinda weird! Haha that is rude but it's true! I love your site and I read every time you update so I will be sticking around for sure! Yours is definitely the best and I wouldn't worry about losing any readers to the other site... :)

Man, that totally sucks. I wonder why it was taken before and then was available for her on Jan 6th. When people tell their friends about your site you just gotta make they make the NET part known or her blog will be getting your traffic. That's the only way though, others are already subscribed or will just send their friends the actual link.
Oh well...look at it this way...it is such a cute header that she had to have it too....be flatered

This is Kira from oopsicraftmypants.com... Regarding the originality of the webaddress "oopsicraftmypants": Rest assured, I didn't purposely copy or steal your idea. Considering the popularity of the hilarious SNL sketch "Oops, I Crapped My Pants", and the awesomeness of crafting hobbies, I'm sure neither of us was the only one to come up with the idea. The phrase "oops i craft my pants" personally occurred to me while my family and I were in the car on our way to watch Avatar around Christmas. We were brainstorming blog name ideas to come up with something easier to say and remember than "i-crafted-this-today dot blogspot dot com" (a mouthful, right?) When my bro checked to see if the url was available, it was, and I thought "Score!" and went for it. I had never heard of your blog until today.
Anyways, sorry concerning any confusion. Again, I never meant to steal anything. I won't be changing my blog name, but our own unique styles will be enough to differentiate.

Aww man, I'm so sorry this happened :( My friend went through a VERY similar thing with her photography business name and she ended up completely changing her name because of it. She was pretty torked too (and like you, her work was much better than the other person's). Keep your chin up, you've got loyal followers! :) And I read you from my reader, so no worries there!
