The other week I was shopping at Nordstrom and came across this bracelet.
Isn’t it great? Unfortunately, it was about $15…And, I hate spending money on things I could possibly make myself. Do you ever feel like that when you’re shopping? It’s an annoying habit, really.
So anyway, I decided to attempt making one. I think it turned out pretty darn close.
All I needed to do was buy the supplies, and get braiding.
Super easy! And, I loved the end result. I get so many compliments on it when I wear it out. Just the kind of project I love.
LOVE it!!! And I love that when you DIY it, you can chose any color cording you want! Beautiful knock off! Id love for you to link up to my fashion linky on Thursday!

I had to laugh Erika! I instantly knew you took that picture with your camera phone! Why? Because I always feel like I am at stores sneaking pictures with my phone…it feels so illegal!

Very cute!!! You may want to take the time to close your jump rings a bit better as they will catch and snag on things.

Great job! That is a very unique bracelet. I’m now thinking of heading for my roll of suede cord. Thanks for sharing!
I love this! What did you use as a clasp or did you just tie it? PS - I love your site AND it’s name! Clever!
Hi, Erika! I found you through For the Love of Blogs, and I think your blog name is hilarious.
Loving the bracelet. It’s gorgeous and looks so close to the original! I’m thinking, one in red and black suede would be amazing.
