So, my project that I'm showing you isn't all the way finished yet. The plan was to have it finished before I posted, but I just couldn't wait.
My mom gave me a bunch of these awesome white containers. I loved the shape, but wasn't quite feeling the white.
So, I painted one light grey. Subtle, but i like it.
Doesn't it look so much better already? I still want to paint over it with shiney Mod Podge (why can't I think of the real name? Y'know, the kind of Mod Podge I hate?) to give it a little shine. We'll see how that looks. I also want a big bow on it and maybe a little something else. We'll see.
I have big plans for this guy. I'm thinking maybe it'll have a nice home on the bathroom floor, holding toilet paper. Only time will tell.

Oooh, nice! I just did a project tonight using mod podge ~ it must be the glossy one {the one you hate}, because it looks a little shiny. I didn't even know they made a matte until I read your other post. I'll have to look for that next time.
See, I don't know if I'm a true "crafter" because I LOVE the white. I kind of feel like it's my life's mission to make white cool again...(um, not sure it was ever "cool", but still....).
I'm trying so hard to mod podge something, but I just can't find the right fabric or paper. Do you have a secret place to find some really cool stuff?
What kind of paint did you use for this project? Spray paint?
Just ragular ol' acrillic paint. I have no idea how to spell that. You know what I'm talking about though, right Casey?
