ANYWAY!
Since this week has been crazy, I haven't gotten much time to browse Etsy for things I want. Dang. So...I will show you a room by Kelly Hoppen that makes my mouth water. My teacher for interior design showed us Kelly's stuff, and I fell absolutely in love.Others in the class? Not so much.

I want that room in a future house, okay?
So, what do you think? Are you likin' it? Hating it? Let me know!

i like the room a lot... the design of everything, placement and all. But- i like a little more color in my rooms, so that's the only thing, I would add more color. But other than that, i love it!
ReplyDeletei love it! although i don't know that such neutral colors are practical with a little one around!
ReplyDeletei love the shelves and the ottoman/coffe table.
very cute!
The room seems a little bland. I, like the first two commenters, would like more color. I do love the large vases of flowers on the ottomen.
ReplyDeleteI do love it. I love the ottoman and sofa and HUGE windows. Actually... I would just love to have a living room that was big enough to have a few extra people in. =)
ReplyDeleteThe only thing about that room is that if it was in my house I wouldn't even want to hang around in there because it seems like it'd get dirty easily. I know, I'm weird. But I don't want a white or cream colored couch for that reason.
ReplyDeleteLove the room, but anyone under the age of 18 would never be allowed in and adults would have to change into clean clothes and take a shower first...therefore, I think it shall never be mine.
ReplyDeleteI love it. So clean and serene. Not like anything in my house (I have a husband and 2 little kids), but exactly what I wish at least one room of my house could look like! Maybe someday...
ReplyDeleteIt's so pretty, but there is no way a room like this would survive in my house with a black lab mutt, two wild kids, and my messy husband!
ReplyDeletejust not enough warmth in there, at least not for my taste. I want to be in a home, not a museum.
ReplyDeleteLove it!!

I vote no. Looks like a show piece. Not practical and too many straight lines. Curves are more inviting and friendly.
ReplyDeleteIt does look beautiful, very calm and serene...... and would probably drive me nuts after living in it for a week!
ReplyDeleteLittle bits of colour would start to creep in here and there almost without me realising it!
Some red would magically appear in accessories or artwork!
Those curtains would get changed..... the cushions would get changed, and more pattern would pop up!
And a rug would materialize under that table!
It's funny, I can appreciate the beauty in other rooms/designs, and will often have my breath taken away by something because of its astounding beauty, but at the same time just KNOW that I could not live with it because it's not me.
Linda. :)

I need some reds pinks, oranges - well you know - to warm it up. The best addition would be a party asking the lady guests to wear colorful dresses.
ReplyDeleteLove it! Love the clean lines and look...just not a good room for tons of pets and kids ;)
ReplyDeleteI looooove it...for those worried about the white...simple linen slip covers would be a great addition. Easy to throw in the wash and add a little bleach if needed! I'd rather see the dirt and be able to wash it then have dark upholstery and not know what's on there! Just my opinion!!!
ReplyDeleteThe room is beautiful. You have great taste!
