Today, I went to my favorite craft store...An OUTLET craft store. Oh, it's amazing, I tell you.
Apparently, all of the stars aligned or something, because it was my lucky craft day.
I found some amazing green candle holder plates (is that what they're called?). I wasn't sure why I wanted them. I just did. So, I threw a few in the cart.
Then! I went to the isle next door and found cute little mirrors. I wasn't sure what I was going to do with them either, but I put them in my cart and one landed inside the candle plate (amazing!)...So, the idea of these mirrors really wasn't mine at all. Thanks to my clumsy hands, the idea was born.
A few isles after those gems, I found a cool little plate holder for $1. I decided I had to have it. Again, I wasn't sure why. But, when I got home I realized my mirrors fit perfectly.
**I give up on trying to schedule posts! Whenever I try, I end up clicking "publish post" too fast. I guess I just get too excited to share. This post is for Therapy Thursday, okay?

October is in three days. Just three. Can you believe that? Time really does fly.
It seems like craft blogs everywhere are posting in full swing about Fall and about Halloween. Believe me, I can't wait to start posting about those things. First, though, I felt I needed to post about another very important thing in October.
October is miscarriage, stillborn, and infant loss awareness month.
This hits close to home because I suffered through a miscarriage of twins this past April. I know first hand the intense emotional pain that comes from losing a baby who was so badly wanted.
I brainstormed for weeks on end a way that we, as bloggers, could help those going through the pain of miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss. Then, I came across http://greysonsgift.blogspot.com/
Here's a little bit about what they're looking for:
"I am looking for your help. Hospitals all across the country are in need of small, very small, baby blankets. In cases of fetal demise, babies are so tiny, even the smallest nursery blanket is much too big to wrap around their tiny bodies.
what they need:12" x 12" and 24" x 24" flannel receiving blankets, in small pink, baby blue, white, and yellow prints. Use your best judgement, we don't want the prints of the blankets to detract from very small babies.The blankets also need to be double layered. "

Mod Podge Monday- SHOES!
This week, I only had a tiny bit of Mod Podge left. I could have cried. Instead, I decided to put that little bit to good use! So, I Mod Podged some shoes. Yes, shoes!
I have seen some awesome ones around online, and I knew I just had to try it.
So, I went out and bought these pink shoes and some cute fabric.

Then, I started piecing the fabric and Mod Podging away (and falling in love more and more with the shoe by the second)

Therapy Thursday- Memo Board
Therapy Thursday is coming a few hours early. That's okay...Right?
This week has been stressful. I've had mounds and mounds of homework, plus a house that never seems to get clean. You know how that is, right?
Thankfully, crafting gets my mind off of everything and I was able to get my mind off of math (among other subjects) for an hour or two.
I started out with this frame. When I saw it, I loved it. In fact, I didn't think there was possibly any way that I could change it to make me love it more. The bottom rectangle is covered in fabric, and is for push pins. So cute.
You know me, though. I can't seem to keep anything plain. So, I turned the top part of the frame into a message center.
I tried all sorts of different paper, but none looked as good as just leaving the plain wood from the backing as the background for of my lists. To the wood, I added some black (okay, they were green, I colored them black) letters to label the squares.
Then, I painted the bottom fabric part a mixed green color and added a picture of an old typewriter to the middle square.
The black frame seemed too...Well..Black. So, I decided to paint it beige and let it dry a little bit before wiping it off with a wet paper towel. This made the black a lot less shiny, as well as giving it a little more of a shabby chic feel.
This project was so easy and helped to clear my mind so I could get right back into the swing of things.

Mod Podge Monday-Simple Tin
For Mod Podge Monday, I decided to turn this simple guy
...into this.
It's still pretty simple, right? Simple to make, and definitely simple as far as the eye goes.
All I did was mix some brown paint with some tan to make this great khaki color and painted the entire tin. Then, I cut out some paper for the lid (an "S" for my last name, of course) and some paper for the middle of the tin.
After that, I added some Mod Podge to not only the spots with the paper, but to the entire tin as well. It helped my paint have a little glossier finish. Of course, I couldn't leave it sitting there looking all perfect after it dried, so I scraped some of the paint/Mod Podge off to make it look like its had a good life so far.
Apparently, I'm not the only one who liked how it turned out. This guy did, too.

What I Want Wednesday- A Kelly Hoppen Designed Room
Sorry for missing tantalizing Tuesday. We spent all day with my in-laws, and didn't have much time for blogging. If you must see something tantalizing, you'd better see my new shoes! My mother-in-law bought them for me and they are delicious. Just throwing that out there.
ANYWAY!
Since this week has been crazy, I haven't gotten much time to browse Etsy for things I want. Dang. So...I will show you a room by Kelly Hoppen that makes my mouth water. My teacher for interior design showed us Kelly's stuff, and I fell absolutely in love.
Others in the class? Not so much.

A Posting Schedule!
I've decided that Oops! I Craft My Pants needs a posting schedule. Everything runs more smoothly on a schedule, right? Mondays will be "Mod Podge Monday".... I figure I use enough Mod Podge that it deserves its own day. If I could marry one craft item, it would probably be Mod Podge (don't worry, Tyler. I'd always pick you over it...)
Tantalizing Tuesday will be every Tuesday (imagine that!), where I'll be showcasing random food I make. Can I just get this out in the open right now that I am NOT that great at cooking? In fact, I hardly ever cook at all. I'm scared of it. So...Hopefully Tuesdays will inspire me to try harder. After all, I've got to impress you guys...Right?
What I Want Wednesday will have posts about things that I want to make or things that I actually want. Etsy is such an inspiring place, so I'm sure a lot of "wants" will come from there. I'm really excited for Wednesdays, because I love searching Etsy for hours on end for awesome new things.
Therapy Thursday will be crafts that I've made from the previous week. Crafting is therapeutic for me, so the name just seemed fitting.

Caramel Apples
My husband and I have been craving Apple Pie Apples from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory for a long, long time.
Today, we just couldn't take it anymore and decided to try to make our own.
It was so much fun and so delicious!
Not only did we make our own "Apple Pie Apples", we made some covered in Oreos, Heath chunks, Sour Patch Kids, and even Reeces Pieces. The Reeces one didn't make the picture above.
Why, you ask? Because he ended up looking like this.
(I highly suggest letting the caramel sit a few seconds before trying to make Reeces Pieces stick. Ya know, just a little word to the wise, here.)
This "project" was so much fun. I loved every second of it (alright, minus the part where I burnt my finger...That always seems to happen to me, doesn't it?). So! I have decided that one day a week, I'll add in a little cooking/baking "craft" into the mix of posts. Believe me, I am not the best chef ever... But, it should be fun.
